“The therapeutic relationship a counselor forms with each client can be the most powerful tool for helping clients change.”

About Me
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW #10572) in Pasadena, California. Beyond my role as a therapist, I am a mom of two adorable boys, a caring wife/friend/daughter/sister, soccer enthusiast, dog-lover, particularly of our elderly pit-lab mix named Bella. I love rhythm and blues and soul music, road trips, hiking, and working with my hands (tinkering around the house, drawing, landscaping to name a few). Prior to pursing graduate studies, my career included work in the entertainment industry and various helping professions, including physical therapy, nursing, serving unhoused individuals as well as those with disabilities. In 2013, I began my first clinical internship at a high school, and it has been an unwavering commitment to the field since then.
My focus is helping adults (18+) navigate challenges such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues and eating disorders. Depending on your specific needs, I use a combination of therapeutic approaches to help support you. I provide a warm, accepting and non-judgmental environment. My approach to individual therapy is collaborative and client-centered, drawing from techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Somatic Therapy. I integrate mindfulness, meditation and grounding techniques and encourage clients to explore these practices outside of our sessions. For those dealing with eating disorders, my approach is often more structured and directive, depending on where you are in your path to wellness.
In couples therapy, I emphasize the development of active listening skills and conflict management. I hold certification in The Gottman Method couples therapy and frequently incorporate Imago Relationship Therapy into my work.
Establishing a strong therapeutic alliance is crucial for progress, which is why I offer a free 10-minute consultation. This allows us to determine if we are a good fit and provides an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have.
